Conversion and renovation

With the construction of the innovative and modern gondola lift «FlemXpress» we also want to bring our restaurant to a new level and expand our offer to provide you with an even better experience on the mountain. To achieve this, our restaurant will be extensively expanded, renovated and modernized over two summers.

Many things will change, but one fact is clear – the cozy and inviting charm of the «Berghaus Foppa» and the family-like, warm character of the Foppa team will remain! It is especially important to us that our guests continue to feel at home here and can enjoy the familiar atmosphere.

In the first phase of the conversion, a completely new, flexible «event room» will be created in the lower floor, which is multifunctional and can be used for events of all kinds. With its own modern kitchen as well as high-quality equipment, this room can be used completely independently from the restaurant.

Unfortunately, we have to close our business completely for the summer season due to the construction work. Then, in winterseason 2023/2024, the new area in the lower floor will be opened and the restaurant will be open as usual.

But don’t worry – until then you can follow the construction progress of the new «Foppastation» at any time via the construction diary of the «Weisse Arena Group» and we will keep you informed about everything important.

In summer 2024, the second renovation phase will take place, during which the existing restaurant will be extensively renovated and expanded. In doing so, we are putting much focus on retaining the charm of the current mountain restaurant and creating a modern and cozy ambience.

During this renovation phase, the newly created «event room» in the lower floor will be open with an attractiv gastronomic offer, so that you can stop by anytime and enjoy the wonderful mountain air with a delicious meal or drink.

And the best comes at the end – by the start of the 2024/2025 winter season, all the construction work will be completed and we are already looking forward to celebrating the opening of the new restaurant with you. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new renovated restaurant and share unforgettable moments together!
